Collecting media
How to collect wedding photos from all your guests with one link
Your guests took hundreds of photos and videos on the day. Here is how to gather every one of them into a single Google Drive folder, with one link or a QR code on the table, no app for anyone to install.

Your photographer's photos are beautiful, but they are not the whole story. The candid moments, the dance floor at midnight, the table that could not stop laughing: those live on your guests' phones. The trouble is getting them. Asking a hundred people to email or message their photos ends with a fraction of them, all blurry. One upload link gathers the lot, in full quality, into a single folder you own.
Why the usual ways fall short
- A hashtag scatters photos across apps you cannot fully download from.
- The group chat squashes everything and loses the videos.
- A shared Drive folder asks guests to sign in to Google, which many cannot or will not do.
- Disposable-camera apps are fun, but they collect only what is taken in their app, not the photos already on the phone.
The one-link way
Make a single upload link before the day. Share it however suits each guest: in the wedding group chat, in a thank-you email, or as a QR code printed on the table cards and the order of service. Guests tap or scan, add their photos and videos, and everything lands in a Google Drive folder that belongs to you. No app, no account, nothing for them to learn.
Works for the whole guest list
Setting up your wedding upload link
Five minutes the week before, and you are ready for everyone's photos.
Tap New, then "Create a collect link"
On your dashboard, tap New and choose the collect side. This makes a link people send media to you on.
make something
What would you like to make?
Name your wedding folder
Call it something clear like your names and the date. Galrivo makes this folder in your Drive and puts every upload inside it.
Folder name
We'll make this folder in your Drive and drop every upload inside it.
Choose who can upload
For a wedding, "Anyone with the link" is easiest so guests add photos in seconds. Add a password if you would rather keep it to invited people.
Who can upload
Get the link and QR code
Copy the link for the group chat, and print the QR code on table cards so guests can scan it on the night.

What your guests see
A warm page with your welcome message at the top. They tap to choose photos and videos from their phone, drag them in, or take one right there on the dance floor. A little progress bar fills, a thank-you appears, and they are done. It takes seconds, and there is nothing to install.
add your media
Add your wedding photos!
Your side: everything in one folder
As guests upload, the photos and videos pile up in your Drive folder, each tagged with who added it. After the honeymoon you can download the whole lot as one zip, pick the best, and turn them into a gallery to share back with everyone.
